Global Bible Engagement Summit
British and Foreign Bible Society (BFBS), in collaboration with United Bible Societies (UBS), is pleased to host the inaugural Global Bible Engagement Summit, which will take place immediately following the UBS Fellowship Event at the same location.
Following the launch of the Patmos Initiative in April 2025, we are seeing numerous national and regional consultations taking place between Bible Societies and key leaders from churches and other organizations. This presents the Fellowship with a significant opportunity to position the Bible Societies as conveners of key regional players and as thought leaders in the area of Bible Engagement.
We are intentionally positioning the Summit after the Fellowship Event to make it possible for as many Bible Societies to participate and engage with other Christian organizations and agencies that will be joining us.
The Summit has been endorsed by the Fellowship Council as a key opportunity to build momentum in Bible Engagement by deepening strategic partnerships, enhancing our capacity to respond to audience insights, and encouraging the development of content tailored to specific needs across our diverse contexts.
